TIPS FOR TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN
1. Be Patient, Take it Slow and Leave Plenty of Time
2. Prepare Kids for the Trip and Let Them Carry their Bags
3. Pack Light, Plan Accordingly in Advance and Pre-Book Tickets
4. SNACKS!!!
5. Stick to the Same Routine as at Home
6. Entertainment: Pack Technology, Chargers, Old Toys or Stuffed Animals, Bring or Buy One New Item on the Journey
7. Bring a Kid’s Camera or Binoculars. It will Enhance their Experience!
8. Take Breaks for Food, Restroom, Stretching, and Resting while Traveling
9. Expect the Unexpected! Anything Can and Will Go Wrong… so be FLEXIBLE!
10. Do Not Hesitate! Don’t Wait to Travel Until Your Kids are “Old Enough to Remember.” Travel when you can, as often as you can. Not only will you have great experiences and memories together, traveling encourages us to appreciate other cultures, it stimulates one’s interests in the world and helps you be more adventurous and open to trying new things in life.
